Members of the press are cordially invited to join us at 7405 South Hayford Road at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. During the event at 12:30 pm we will be officially receiving the 10,000th Next-Generation T-680 tractor in a presentation from Kenworth, and will have public addresses from our founder James Williams, current president and CEO Dennis Williams and other dignitaries.
About System Transport
System Transport was started in 1972 with one single truck by James Williams who is himself a third-generation truck driver. His son Dennis Williams took the reigns as president and CEO in 2017. System Transport is the flatbed division of Trans-System, Inc., now a fourth-generation family owned and operated organization. At over 750 trucks, System Transport is one of the largest flatbed carriers in the western United States.
Headquartered in Cheney, WA, Trans-System and its subsidiaries employ over 1300 people, lease with 215 independent contractors, and dispatch a fleet of more than 950 trucks. Among this are three carrier divisions – System Transport, the flatbed division; TWT Refrigerated Services, the refrigerated & dry van division; and James J. Williams Bulk Service Transport, the tanker division. These three carrier divisions regularly service the lower 48 states and western Canada.
